Please join this Friendship Seminar with four exceptional teachers: Kaname Ariga Shihan, Miia Mäntysaari Sensei, Ryota Oiwa Sensei and Luis Mochon Sensei. They are all senior deshi (direct students) of Endo Seishiro Shihan (8th Dan) and this is a rare opportunity to practice with them all together. Public Health

For the good of the entire community and yourself, if you are not feeling well, please stay home and take care of your health.

Each day, at check in, we will do a temperature check. If you have a fever, please refrain from joining the seminar, isolate, mask if necessary, and attend to your health. This will protect the entire group from potential infection and illness. Thank you for your care and understanding.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your participation you may be eligible for a full or partial refund: 

Cancel before March 1, 2025: Full Refund

Cancel before April 1, 2025: 50% Refund

Cancel before April 15, 2025: 20% Refund

Cancel on April 15, 2025: No Refund

Financial Hardship and Scholarship Fund 

We want to make it possible for all aikidoka to participate.

If you are able to provide scholarship funds for those in need, please contact Charles Colten directly by email: charles@circle123.org These funds will be used to help Aikidoka who need financial assistance to attend the seminar. Many thanks to those who have already anonymously donated to this fund.

Lodging Options

There are many options for lodging in Santa Cruz; Hotels, Air B and B, Vrbo, etc. If you need further assistance, let us know.

Staying in the dojo:

For a nominal fee $25/night, accommodations are available for people to bring their own bedding and to sleep on the tatami at the dojo. First come, first served up to 20 spaces.  Kitchen and showers are on site. People who stay in the dojo are expected to keep the space clean, and to remove all personal items from the common areas and training spaces at least one hour prior to all classes.
